OMI Welcomes Birmingham PET Imaging to our list of facilities

Oncology Molecular Imaging is proud to announce the addition of another PET/CT imaging facility to our growing list of centers. Birmingham PET Imaging has been serving central Alabama for years now and since teaming with OMI, BPI has upgraded their equipment and is currently scanning patients again. BPI is located in the Vestavia Hills section of Birmingham and is proud to serve the local area medical community. BPI features a new, 16 slice, ACR accredited Siemens Biograph PET/CT scanner. OMI Opens two new PET/CT Locations

OMI would like to welcome two new PET/CT locations to our list of affiliates. Desert Springs Cancer Care located in Scottsdale Arizona and Oncology Associates of Monroe of Monroe Louisiana are the newest members of the OMI PET/CT family. OMI is pleased to welcome these two wonderful practices to our growing line of imaging facilities.

About Oncology Associates of Monroe

The new Monroe Louisiana location is a unique addition to OMI’s list of affiliates. Prior to facilitating Oncology Associates of Monroe’s (OAM) PET/CT service, OMI managed OAM’s CT service. OAM is now implementing full PET/CT in to their practice. OAM features 3 board certified medical oncologists and is the premiere oncology treatment facility in Monroe Louisiana. Construction is in progress and OAM looks to scan their first PET/CT patient in July of 2011. OMI is looking forward to growing this already prosperous relationship.
